The Vision

Not just a place — a successful template.

Charity City isn't just a place… it's a successful template for facilities and programs that can be replicated in diverse countries and cultures around the world. Funds are being raised to build 120 Charity Cities in 120 of the most needy countries and places on our planet.

Based on the success of GPI's 325,000 square foot Charity City outside of Hyderabad, India — a Charity City is designed as a multi-purpose facility that incorporates a large-capacity orphanage and school to house up to 1,000 children. It also contains a separate training center to house and train widows completing training as Little Teresa's.

Construction and operation provides stimulus to local economies and creates employment and volunteer opportunities through alliances with other organizations. The Charity City concept also helps build trust and grassroots allegiance with locals as GPI reaches out to local leaders to embrace peace and cooperation.

What's Inside

Four Core Pillars

Orphanage & School

Housing and educating up to 1,000 vulnerable children at a single facility.

Little Teresa's Training

A dedicated center training widows for purposeful service to their communities.

Vocational Training

Adult education, vocational skills, and micro-entrepreneurship programming.

Self-Sufficiency

Clean water initiatives and agriculture so each city sustains itself.

Charity

Rescuing children. Restoring widows. Reaching nations.

There are an estimated 10,000,000 children living on the streets in 120 developing countries. One of GPI's top priorities is to rescue the entire population of street children in major cities and place them in loving, secure homes within their own country and culture — all within the next four years. To accommodate those who cannot be placed in adoptive homes, GPI plans to expand the Children's Homes Initiative to provide food, clothing, shelter, education, and health care for at least 1,000,000 children.

GPI has inspired hundreds of thousands of families around the world to adopt a street child. Homes for the children are identified during GPI Peace Rallies.

Peace Rallies

From Argentina to Zambia.

Over the years GPI has conducted massive Peace Rallies throughout the world. During these rallies our initiatives are explained and launched, allowing GPI to address the human needs confronting communities and garner public support for strong community-based solutions. This in turn promotes peace, security, and stability among the population while providing opportunity for them to volunteer the human resources needed to implement initiatives.

These immense rallies have also given us ready access to presidents, prime ministers, kings, and governmental leaders with the power to make positive changes for their constituents. Through these contacts we are often positioned to help stop conflicts and war and negotiate peace between communal or tribal leaders — even countries in conflict.

Little Teresa's

Hope, purpose, and dignity for elderly widows.

Hundreds of thousands of impoverished, elderly women have taken the vow to become a "Little Teresa." Of that number, GPI has provided a small monthly stipend meeting the most basic needs for more than 52,000 women. The Little Teresa's initiative has offered impoverished, elderly women hope, purpose, and — in cases of extreme need — financial assistance.

These abandoned or widowed women are then encouraged to emulate the life of Mother Teresa by serving the hurting and needy in their community. Our goal is to support 10,000,000 Little Teresa's worldwide in the next four years. Further plans include building housing for homeless widows adjacent to our children's homes, so the women can work with the children and provide love, care, and support that benefit both the Little Teresa and the resident children.

GPI's Little Teresa's Program has helped turn the hopelessness and suicide attempts of widows from around the world into smiles and the hope of service and peace.
